This spell applies to all bipedal, generally mammalian figures of near-to or less than man-size, excluding all undead but including most humanoids (goblinoids, gnolls, orcs, kobolds) and fey that match the requisites. Choose a target within range that can see and hear you. If the wisdom save to resist is unsuccessful, it will cause the charmed entity to come under the influence of the magic-user, per the charmed condition, until such time as the charm is detected and dispelled.
